Living and Abundant Life: Practical Tools for your Spiritual Path

This two-hour workshop took place at Dancing the Soul in Denver on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Description: Join Erin as you tap into your best self, learn how to work toward your goals, practice self-loving gratitude and recognize your connection to yourself, your community and the divine energy. Be in community as you write, meditate and discuss.

Energy Readings at People House

As part of my ministry, I volunteer time at People House in Denver one Sunday afternoon a month. In these session I read a client’s energy and communicate what I see and feel. Clients can ask specific questions about problems or blocks, or I read their energy overall and provide a “state of the spirit” assessment. Sessions are free and last approximately 45 minutes.

People House is in central Denver near I-25 and the 23rd Avenue exit. Be sure to check out all that People House has to offer—it’s an incredible resource for spiritual and personal growth. Voluntary donations to People House are welcome for this service. Contact me to make an appointment!

Meditation Practice

In 2014 I ran a series of weekly meditation sessions that provided the opportunity for participants to learn more about meditation and practice this beautiful way to open mind and spirit! Sessions ran a total of 45 minutes, with meditations of different lengths and types incorporated. Guidance and instruction and a chance to ask questions and share experiences was part of the process.

The class is appropriate for all skill and experience levels, from “just beginning” to “been around the block.” We call it practice (just like yoga), because you always get something out of your session—a teaching that hits home, a realization about self, a letting go of something that no longer serves you, a honing of a particular skill.

Conveniently, this practice is over the phone, so you can join the group from anywhere.

  • Thursday, August 22 from 7:30 to 8:15 PM
  • Friday, August 30 from 9:00 to 9:45 AM
  • Thursday, September 5 from 7:30 to 8:15 PM
  • Thursday, September 12 from 7:30 to 8:15 PM
  • Friday, September 13 from 9:00 to 9:45 AM
  • Thursday, September 20 from 7:30 to 8:15 PM
  • Thursday, September 27 from 7:30 to 8:15 PM
  • Friday, September 28 from 9:00 to 9:45 AM

Like yoga, meditation practice is about meeting your mind, spirit, and body where they are today. Give it a try and experience the benefits: lower stress, acceptance of self, release of energy that’s no longer serving you, and a feeling of peace.

I recommend that you establish a relatively quiet space, especially if you’re a beginner. It’s also helpful to be in a place where you can get comfortable in a seated or prone (lying down) position. There’s no need for you to sit on the floor or in the lotus (cross-legged) position unless that is your practice. You’ll need a phone with long-distance service, and it’s more comfortable to have a headset or a phone you can put on speaker.
